                                       Gaining conquest

Conquest points are quite simply, a way to track your progress in the campaign of Purgeon Abyss. Keep in mind that this is still new, and really the only "mechanic" of the campaign, so it may have to change as we move along. Gaining conquest points is not only done through battles and games, but also through progressing through the hobby, and expanding the narrative, what follows will be a rough outline of ways to gain Conquest Points.

Writing a Narrative battle report.................................................... 2 Points

Dokta Stitcha

Dokta Stitcha
Dokta Stitcha.is the personal painboy to Gwizdo Faceblasta Da WAAAGHH! Prince, and a full member of Da Slum Boys MC. Dokta Stitcha is a particularly curious ork, even by painboy standards. Dokta Stitcha has been known to dissect grots that have served their purposes, and will often stop in the middle of a fight just to look at the enemies insides. Dokta Stitcha is a terror on the battlefield however, and has created an especially nasty poison with which he injects his enemies.

Amacara

                                         Amacara

Amacara was once a great industrial planet, with a salty and humid atmosphere. Giant megafauna roamed the land, while the small population of workers toiled away. Amacara he three major land masses, and giant ocean expanses, it is also very rich in materials, boasting some of the largest mines in the sector. Amacara has many species of native flora, mostly strange fungi and grasses.
In recent years an Ork infestation began to take hold, usually just small raiding parties would come and cause damage to the factories, maybe take a few sleeves and leave. Although the attacks were brutal and random, they remained rare and generally just a nuisance, so went unchecked.

All at once, i giant green tide invaded that factories and mines of Amacara, led by a warboss, on his screaming trike. The great warboss proved to not just be a physically tough foe, but quite the tactician as well. Before a force could be rallied he ork shad broken through the line, and overwhelmed the imperial forces present. The only survivors were taken as slaves, forced by the prodding and evil grots to do any work needed.

Throughout the years following the attack, the great warboss declared major construction projects on the planet, turning many factory areas into a sprawling city of slums and scrap, dubbed Dakka City. The great warboss has since declared Dakka City to be the capitol of Amacara.

Da Howlaz

                                       Da Howlaz

Da Howlaz are a little known ork clan, they wear predominantly purple clothing, and really love "da splody bits" and so specialize in explosions. The largest concentration of Da Howlaz are on Amacara under the leadership of "Gwizdo Faceblasta Da WAAAGH! prince"

Gwizdo Faceblasta was just a boy in a clan on Amacara, they were seen as a minor nuisance by the bigger 'Arder clans of orks. Gwizdo craved power, and would use his " taktakul" thinking to turn the tides of battle for his clan. he quickly rose to Da Boss of his clan "Howla Boyz". Gwizdo was constantly outsmarting the other bosses on Amacara(then an industrial planet) tricking them to fighting each other, or to raid the factories on the planet. Gwizdo enjoyed a good fight and was always happy to krump other orks, however, he thought the WAAAGH! spoke to him, which explained his mind being "good fer finkin" He adopted the mantle " Da WAAAGH! Prince" and unleashed a brutal campaign conquering the opposing tribes and expunging any non orkoid life from Amacara.

Gwizdo Faceblasta DA WAAAGH! Prince, is known for his troops using heavy armor, and his biker gang known as "Da Slum Boyz". Gwizdo and his clan now called Da Howlaz have turned the many factories on Amacara into piles of scrap, and now having a sprawling Ork city that spans nearly the entire planet, it is called " DAKKA CITY"

Gwizdo has several lieutenants, mainly Nobz, and Paiboyz, as he believes that DOCs help boyz grow strong. Gwzdo is usually seen on his wartrike being hurled towards the foes. Gwizdo has recently spoken to da WAAAGH! (or at least says so) and he has instructed his legion of Meks to begin building " a Big space ship, with Big ROKKITS, and enjun dat goes BOOM!" so he can fully realize his dream of an Ork Empire.

Due to the salty atmosphere on Amacara Da Howlaz are seen with a large amount of rust on nearly every piece of metal.

Planets and clusters

                                 Purgeon Abyss

Many planets and clusters lie in the Pruegon Abyss, this is in no way a comprehensive list, and will be updated as players advance the story,  This will be a list of known worlds, and although a listing might refer to a single planet, many times it is just the most notable in the star system.

Praxis IV: Feral world, Ocean World
Although the Imperium classifies Praxis IV as an ocean world, its is much less an ocean and more so a "shallow pond of savagery and muck" - Inquisitor Hycius. Praxis IV has a shallow cover of water over the entire planet, roughly 1 Meter deep, although deeper or more shallow in areas. Every century or so the duel moons, will reach a harmony and create a singular giant tidal wave that circles the planet, currently it is not known how the (primitive) humans survive this event. Praxis is one of 4 planets in the Praxis star system, and is the furthest away from the white star, Praxis IV is also the only world capable of supporting (human) life

  Jiron: Dead world, Mining World
Jiron is a desolate place. This mining world is important to many Imperial worlds in the sub-sector Jiron is exempt from the imperial tithe as its population is not stable, they must send new workers every 30 years roughly just to maintain production. Jiron is smallest in its star system of 9 planets. There is a nearby planet Nizuhn that is believed to contain a strange Xenos species.

Hedgyn Prime: Death world, Penal World
Hedgyn Prime is largest of 12 planets in the Aldori star system. Hedgyn Prime is a Penal world. Although it may seem a bit strange compared to many Penal Worlds as it has no ports, or walls or Imperium structure, instead prisoners are dropped off and left to their devices, the surface of Hedgyn Prime is infested with deadly Mega-fauna and poisonous Flora. Due to the terrible conditions the prisoners face, they become very sought after in penal legions for the imperium.

Amacara: Fallen Imperial World, Ork world, Player World
Amacara was once a frontier industral world, its mineral rich environment as well as its surplus of fuel allowed the world to be highly successful. A typical ork infestation went unchecked, as the low population didn't recognize the threat. Ork tribes fought over the factories and scrap metal and killed any in their way. The orks now have full control over the planet.

Map

                                       The Map

Tamahl Sector is outlined in red, just north of Gothic sector, Purgeon Abyss is outlined in orange in the galactic south-west quadrant of Tamahl.

Welcome

                                     Welcome to the Abyss

                                                           What is Purgeon Abyss ?

Purgeon Abyss is a homebrew sub-sector of space within the Tamahl sector in the tabletop wargame Warhammer 40,000. Further, Purgeon Abyss will be the title of Full Scale Wargaming's narrative overlying campaign. The point of this campaign is not to "win" or 'lose" the point of Purgeon Abyss is to give our stories an evolving narrative, and our armies and factions a place to inhabit. the Purgeon Abyss Campaign, will provide a "backdrop" for our games, and allow grudges and diplomacy to thrive all the while keeping the grim dark feeling of Warhammer 40,000.

Eventually, we will be participating in campaign with set goals, and "win" conditions, but these will be in addition to, not replacing, The Purgeon Abyss Campaign.

                                             How to participate

To get started you need to do a  few things:
                        1) Design your faction
                        2) Design your Base of operations
                        3) ?
                        4) Profit
                        5) Start building,painting, and writing

     Design your faction

This is not complicated as it may seem, all you need to do is choose which codex your faction/army will use. Then decide on how your army fits in the whole. I will often use Space Marines or Orks as examples, as this is what i know best. So if player A, wants to use his space marines, he would have to decide on his chapter, and since I LOVE all things homebrew, he decides on his custom chapter "The Black Ghouls"  Player A then will write a small(or whatever size) explanation of the founding of his chapter and a few tidbits about it, nothing major is expected at this step since the campaign is to create stories as it goes. Player A will then move to the next step.

     Design your Base of Operations

Now that you have your army, we need to know how they fit into the Purgeon Abyss. This step has one restriction: it must be in the Purgeon Abyss. this doesn't mean Player A has to make his fortress monastery on a planet in the sub-sector, but he has to have a place his army is located. Example: Player A decides his chapter actually have a home planet in the Gothic Sector, but he explains The Black Ghouls recruit from a couple worlds in this sub-sector, and thus their Fleet is in the Purgeon Abyss. In this way the player still has control of his army but will still be able to contribute to the campaign, by providing a reason his army is around.
